Juliana Yang, MD

Dr. Yang completed her Bachelor of Science in neurobiology with honors at The University of Texas at Austin. She then attended the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee to earn her Doctor of Medicine and completed the internal medicine residency at the same institution. This was followed by the three-year digestive and liver diseases (gastroenterology and hepatology) fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. During her digestive and liver diseases fellowship, Dr. Yang was accepted to the advanced endoscopy rotation at Changhai Hospital in Shanghai, China. Following her gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship, Dr. Yang completed a two-year advanced endoscopy fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in Baltimore, Maryland to better serve her patients.
Prior to joining Central California Faculty Medical Group as Medical Director of University Gastroenterology and Hepatology Associates, Dr. Yang was an Assistant Professor at The Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Previously she was an Instructor at The Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions.
Dr. Yang is an active member of the medical community. She is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, American College of Gastroenterology, and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Yang is active in many areas of GI research, has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, and has been invited to speak at multiple national and international conferences. She has also given TV interviews in China.
