NCSCG GI SYMPOSIUM
ACCREDITATION INFORMATION

Program Overview

The joint providership of Medical Education Resources (MER) and Northern California Society for Clinical Gastroenterology (NCSCG) is excited to propose 21st Annual NCSCG GI Symposium, a comprehensive update on gastrointestinal (GI) and hepatology diseases.

Target Audience

Health care professionals (HCPs), including gastroenterologists, hepatologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses.

 

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe current guidelines for the treatment and management of patients with chronic liver disease (CLD) and gastrointestinal (GI) disorders

  • Employ an evidence-based approach to the management of CLD and GI disorders

  • Optimize treatment results for patients with CLD and GI disorders utilizing new therapies

Accreditation
In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Medical Education Resources (MER) and Northern California Society for Clinical Gastroenterology (NCSCG). MER is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team

Physician Credit
Medical Education Resources designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

MOC Designation

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 6.25 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
